This course qualifies you for 14 PMI® Professional Development Units (PDUs).

This highly hands-on and interactive training allows you to understand and implement project management, using the Project Management Institute (PMI/PMBOK) approach. Applying gained knowledge to a practical case, participants will work in teams, through the five (5) process groups and the ten (10) knowledge domains, and benefit from trainer coaching.


Project managers, team leaders, team members: beginner, intermediate or advanced


Project management (basic) or experience in project management


  • Master the tools and techniques of start-up and project planning
  • Master the tools and techniques of project monitoring and control
  • Acquire the common vocabulary

Teaching method

The participants will carry out a series of exercises/workshops and will benefit from personalized coaching from the trainer. Also, the latter will provide necessary explanations through lectures, exchanges and case-based examples.


  • Definitions
  • Start-up: project charter and logical framework
  • Planning: project breakdown structure (WBS), time and cost estimation techniques, critical path (CPM) and schedule optimization techniques (compression, accelerated speed, levelling), critical chain (CC)
  • Realization, monitoring and control: monitoring progress with performance indicators and acquired value, gap analysis
  • Case study with exercises, workshops, simulations, role plays
