Catherine Edgar

Catherine Edgar is a senior project director with more than 25 years of IT experience at large firms, including Accenture, CGI and The Createch Group. She holds a bachelor’s degree in management information technology, as well as a certification as a project management professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI). She has primarily dedicated the past 18 years to consulting in the field of IT project management, specifically the implementation of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and enterprise software.

Over the course of her career, Catherine has developed management expertise with a focus on the human impact brought about by change. She has excellent problem-solving, training, coaching and interpersonal relation skills, always taking a concrete approach to each situation. She excels at rallying businesspeople and IT teams toward a shared goal.

She has successfully carried out major implementations of tools including Microsoft Dynamics Nav (ERP), Oracle (ERP eBusiness Suite and Peoplsoft) and SAP (ERP) for a number of private companies and governmental organizations, including Quebec’s Commission de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST) and Ministère des Transports, as well as Industrial Alliance, Alcan and Total Fina Elf.

On numerous occasions, Catherine has collaborated on projects integrating different internal organizations (multiple divisions) or external organizations (consultants, solution providers). She has been responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating large-scale projects with tight deadlines, all while ensuring a pleasant and productive team working environment. In addition, Catherine has held senior management positions and actively participated in management activities at a number of different companies.
