Michel Laporte

Michel Laporte has accumulated nearly 45 years of experience in the IT field. As an AFI Expertise trainer for the last twelve years, he has taught systems administrators to use the programming language PowerShell.

In 2007, Mr. Laporte founded Services informatiques Michel Laporte to provide systems integration and consulting services. For several years now, to keep abreast of the progress and innovations in the field, he has concentrated primarily on PowerShell projects. Teaching part‑time and working full-time on various contracts, he can always come up with a concrete example.

His collaboration with Matricis Informatique on numerous application integration projects has been a highlight of his career. In fact, it is through Matricis, a company that collaborates with AFI Expertise, that Mr. Laporte started offering PowerShell training. He also served as the director of service engineering at Videotron, where he handled application integration, new IT services and applications development, and trained users to operate and maintain these services. At Hewlett-Packard Enterprises, he was the solution design manager.

His professional experience informs his ability as a consultant and trainer to easily understand needs in their totality. Sensitive to their knowledge level and expectations, he effortlessly adapts his approach to his students.
