Fazil Chouakri
A leader mindful of effectiveness and results-driven, Fazil Chouakri is a proven innovator with vast IT experience. During his 25-year career, he has developed substantial expertise in process and systems modeling. With an excellent capacity for analysis and synthesis, he can quickly grasp organizational contexts and complex information systems.
As a functional architect and project lead, he has played key roles in the delivery of strategic projects for Transcontinental, BRP, Loto-Québec, Michelin, Louis Vuitton, the Yellow Pages Group, and Décathlon. Recognized for his expertise in continual development process improvement, he has also participated in the implementation of software engineering processes for BDC, Université de Sherbrooke, Hydro-Québec, and CGI (Montreal and Sherbrooke). His contracts have exposed him to development tools used for a range of platforms including SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, IBM, Microsoft, Amazon, and Google, as well as, the integration of a DevOps culture.
His expertise has led him to teach IT governance and an introduction to business analytics, in Concordia University’s EMBA program, and courses in development methodology at the HEC. In addition to a BA in computer science and a master’s in information systems, Fazil Chouakri is certified by Kaospilot, a learning and training implementation process. An excellent communicator, he has a deep sense of collaboration and teamwork. His work in the field and his theoretical knowledge make him an excellent coach and trainer.
