CISCO - Deploying Cisco Wireless Enterprise Networks (WIDEPLOY) v1.1

Reference : WIDEPLOY v1.1

Duration : 5 days

Learning credits : 44

Our scheduled trainings are offered in French. The educational material is in English.

In this course, you will learn how to deploy wireless networks using Cisco controller and unified switching architectures policies and best practices, as well as ensure the proper implementation of mobility standards and proper configuration of all aspects of wireless components. Hands-on labs reinforce concepts taught, including deployment of Cisco AireOS 8.0, Cisco Prime Infrastructure Release 2.2, as well as the Cisco Mobility Services Engine Release 8.0 features.
Cisco CCNP Wireless certification addresses the need for designing, implementing, and operating Cisco Wireless networks and mobility infrastructures. CCNP Wireless certification emphasizes wireless networking principles and theory.

The primary audience for this course is as follows:
  • Network engineers
  • Network administrators
  • Network managers
  • Systems engineers
The primary audience is formed of individuals involved in the technical handling of Cisco platforms and solutions, namely installing, configuring, operating, and troubleshooting. However, many people with Cisco certifications are called on to provide advice in network planning and design. This course addresses those individuals as well.
The secondary audience for this course is as follows:
  • Network designers
  • Project managers

The knowledge and skills that a learner should have before attending this course are as follows:
  • Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 1 (ICND1)
