Marie-Claude Brodeur

Trainer and Human Resources Consultant

After 25 years in human resources at manufacturing companies large and small, Marie-Claude Brodeur now shares her expertise in the various aspects of human resources management. Her experience has allowed her to gain knowledge about evaluating the function of HR, revising HR processes, managing working relationships, skills development, development of a strong and authentic culture, development of innovative remuneration programs, and the full range of HR responsibilities.

Throughout her career, she has evolved as a director of human resources and as principal director of skills development at the Leclerc Group, a manufacturing company with over 950 non-union employees, which integrated the LEAN management approach into its daily operations. She also spent ten years at Fafard as the director of human capital.

Marie-Claude Brodeur has an MBA in innovation and strategy and several certifications (e.g., MBTI, DiSC, the Porter motivation model, and competing values framework). Her thorough understanding of the issues is based on her work experience underpinned by theoretical training.

Although accustomed to large companies, helping young HR professionals is important to her. She was a mentor in the mentoring programs at Université Laval and for Quebec’s order of professional HR advisors (CRHA). She is also a member of the CRHA’s regional committee since 2017 and served as a judge during the inter-university competition for industrial relations faculties in 2019.
